Dear Ward family,
I hope that you are all well. There's nothing much to report here. Izzie and Max seem to get taller every day!
It looks unlikely that we will travel to Canada (or USA) in the near future, as we are keeping a safe distance from the volcanic ash cloud (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8669610.stm) -- it has been pretty disruptive to friends and colleagues (and I have missed one work trip already).
We have been watching the general election results here -- quite interesting (a Conservative-Lib Dem pact: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8679344.stm). Who knows what it will mean? (Tightening of belts all around I suspect).
